Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Comes Up Short

Southwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pulaski County Maroons. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Maroons from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pulaski County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coincidentally, Southwestern and Pulaski County will both be playing West Jessamine the next time they take the court. The Maroons will host the Colts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
