Basketball Recap: Voorhees Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Voorhees won the last time they faced South Hunterdon and things went their way on Thursday too. The Voorhees Vikings strolled past the South Hunterdon Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 55-37. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Eagles are ranked 272nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Voorhees' victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for South Hunterdon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Voorhees will head out to take on Belvidere at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Hunterdon, they will welcome Manville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
