Basketball Recap: River Comes Up Short

River was the 56-39 winner over Magnolia when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The River Pilots took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Magnolia Blue Eagles.

River has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Magnolia, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River will face off against Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Caldwell is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season. As for Magnolia, they will square off against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
