Basketball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Gets the Win

After losing to Velma-Alma the last time they met, Amber-Pocasset decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Amber-Pocasset Panthers made off with a 46-45 win over the Velma-Alma Comets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Amber-Pocasset pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Velma-Alma, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record.

Amber-Pocasset and Rush Springs will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Velma-Alma will take on Waurika in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
