Escondido Adventist Academy waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the San Diego Academy Cavaliers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Escondido Adventist Academy was: they took every set by at least 25 points. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Escondido Adventist Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for San Diego Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

After both having extra time off, Escondido Adventist Academy and Orange Glen will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on the 23rd. As for San Diego Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Preuss UCSD on the 16th.
