Volleyball Game Preview: Caledonia Cavaliers vs. Florence Eagles

The Caledonia Cavaliers will head out on the road to square off against the Florence Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Caledonia made easy work of Columbus and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Caledonia was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-11, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Florence came tearing into Thursday's contest with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Florence's got stronger as the match went on, holding Holmes County Central to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-6.

Caledonia's victory bumped their record up to 19-12-2. As for Florence, their win bumped their record up to 18-5.
