Basketball Recap: Crestview Comes Up Short

Crestview lost against Monroeville back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crestview Cougars took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monroeville Eagles. The Cougars were down 54-33 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Crestview now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Monroeville, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Crestview Cougars duke it out with the New London Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monroeville, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Huron at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
