Soccer Recap: Wadsworth Takes a Loss

Wadsworth's game on Tuesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees by a score of 4-3. While losing is never fun, Wadsworth can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 64th, while Brecksville-Broadview Heights are ranked sixth).

Wadsworth hit Brecksville-Broadview Heights with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Brett Pelkey, Justin Lazzaretti, and Kyle Nagel.

Wadsworth's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-3. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Coming up, Wadsworth will take on North Olmsted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they will welcome Medina at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
