Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perryton). Everything went their way against the Canyon Eagles on Tuesday as the Perryton Rangers made off with a 9-1 win. The score was close at the half, but the Rangers pulled away in the second half with eight goals.

Perryton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Canyon, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-2-3.

Perryton will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against West Plains at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canyon, they will head out to take on Randall at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Canyon is facing Randall at the right time seeing as Randall is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
