Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andover). Their defense stepped up to hand the Derby Panthers an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. While Andover didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-10), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Andover is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six matchups. As for Derby, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Looking ahead, Andover will head out on the road to face off against Newton on Tuesday. As for Derby, they will be playing at home against Dodge City on Tuesday.
