Softball Recap: L.W. Higgins Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the L.W. Higgins Hurricanes came up short against the Benjamin Franklin Falcons and fell 22-19. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

L.W. Higgins' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Benjamin Franklin, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. L.W. Higgins will head out to take on Fisher at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. L.W. Higgins has given up an average of 18.3 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Benjamin Franklin, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Benjamin Franklin Falcons duke it out with McGehee Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
