Basketball Recap: North Branch Takes a Loss

North Branch lost against Imlay City back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Branch Broncos took a 42-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Imlay City Spartans. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Branch's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Imlay City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

North Branch wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-34 win against Almont on the 24th. As for Imlay City, they will face off against Croswell-Lexington at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Croswell-Lexington is on a three-game streak of home wins, Imlay City a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
