Kennedy hadn't done well against Canoga Park recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Kennedy Cougars blew past the Canoga Park Hunters 50-8 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-8.

Diego Montes continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 324 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of his passes, and also rushing for 124 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Francisco Ceja was in the mix as well, providing Kennedy with two touchdowns.
