Soccer Game Preview: Ascend Leadership vs. Woods Charter + Official Tickets

The Ascend Leadership Aviators will venture away from home to challenge the Woods Charter Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ascend Leadership has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Woods Charter will come in with four straight victories.

On Wednesday, Ascend Leadership came up short against River Mill and fell 3-1.

The Aviators' goal came courtesy of Brayden Berquist, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Woods Charter kept a clean sheet against Central Carolina Academy on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. Considering Woods Charter have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Woods Charter's victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1. As for Ascend Leadership, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2.

Ascend Leadership took their win against Woods Charter in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Aviators since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
