Knoxville Catholic extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Juice Eleam. The Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish came out on top against the Cocke County Fighting Cocks by a score of 78-69 on Friday thanks in part to Eleam, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 22 points and six boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Asbaty, who posted six points in addition to ten rebounds and five assists. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played.

Cocke County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kyler Hayes, who had 18 points and seven boards. Maddux Carter also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Knoxville Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Cocke County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Knoxville Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 73-52 win against Notre Dame on the 18th. As for Cocke County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 81-67 defeat against Carter on the 24th.
