Basketball Recap: Yoncalla Takes a Loss

If Yoncalla was feeling good fresh off their 64-20 takedown of Powers last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yoncalla Eagles were dealt a 54-12 defeat at the hands of the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Monarchs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Yoncalla's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Umpqua Valley Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-7.

As of now, neither Yoncalla nor Umpqua Valley Christian have any future games scheduled.
