Basketball Recap: Point Pleasant Comes Up Short

Point Pleasant lost against Oak Hill back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Point Pleasant Big Blacks took a blow against the Oak Hill Red Devils, falling 53-14. The Big Blacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kyla Queen was Point Pleasant's leading scorer, having posted six points. Queen also led the team in rebounds with eight.

Point Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Oak Hill, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Point Pleasant didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 39-26 loss against Buffalo on the 5th. As for Oak Hill, they will be playing at home against Mount Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
