East Syracuse-Minoa has gone a perfect 9-0 against Fulton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will square off against the Red Raiders at 6:30 p.m. East Syracuse-Minoa will be strutting in after a win while Fulton will be coming in after a defeat.

East Syracuse-Minoa's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Corcoran 20-0. Considering the Spartans have won four games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Fulton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Auburn 60-8. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 497th, while the Maroons are ranked 117th).

The victory made it two in a row for East Syracuse-Minoa and bumps their season record up to 4-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points in those games. As for Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

East Syracuse-Minoa took their victory against Fulton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 24-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
