VISFA Virginia Prep recap Oct. 3, 2012

Fork Union Military Academy extended the longest winning streak in VISFA Virginia Prep this week by beating Valley Forge Military, 33-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Blue Devils.

Collegiate moved up to 67 from 108 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cougars were able to make the jump by beating Episcopal 35-0.

Fork Union Military Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Christian Hackenberg has thrown for 524 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Roma Michael has 11 catches for 136 yards. Jeremy Bell leads the league in rushing with 413 yards.

A big matchup in VISFA Virginia Prep this week will be when Fork Union Military Academy takes on St. Christopher's. Micky Sullivan's team is in first place, while the Saints are in third place.

Collegiate took down the Maroon 35-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
