Soccer Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Bloomington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Richwoods Knights, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Bloomington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while Richwoods are ranked 61st).

Bloomington's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Richwoods, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-3.

Looking ahead, Bloomington will be taking part in a tournament against Moline at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Richwoods, they will challenge Manual at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
