Football Recap: Gladstone Comes Up Short on the Road Against Astoria

Gladstone had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a blow against the Astoria Fishermen, falling 35-0. The Gladiators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fishermen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

The victory was the third in a row for Astoria, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Gladstone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Astoria, they will face off against Tillamook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Fishermen their first taste of in-conference action this season.
