Findlay has gone a perfect 6-0 against Elida recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Findlay Trojans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Elida Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Findlay has struggled recently with 14 defeats in a row, while Elida will arrive with three straight wins.

On Friday, Findlay had to suffer through a 79-38 loss at the hands of Whitmer. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 665th, while the Panthers are ranked 74th).

Meanwhile, Elida was able to grind out a solid victory over Wapakoneta on Friday, taking the game 47-37.

Elida's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Findlay, their loss dropped their record down to 1-16.

Everything came up roses for Findlay against Elida when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 62-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Findlay since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
