Basketball Recap: Binger-Oney Wins Going Away Against Carnegie

It was a proper cat-fight when Binger-Oney duked it out with Carnegie on Tuesday. The Binger-Oney Bobcats strolled past the Carnegie Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 52-36. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 44-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Carnegie still got an impressive performance from Karlee Tohkofper, who went 6 of 14 on her way to 17 points. That was a full 47.2% of Carnegie's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points. Adrianna Barco also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Binger-Oney and bumps their season record up to 6-13. As for Carnegie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-14.

Binger-Oney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 40-33 defeat against Calumet on the 8th. As for Carnegie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 65-60 win against Verden on the 7th.
