After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Governor Livingston, Scotch Plains-Fanwood was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Westfield Blue Devils 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted since April 4th.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ian Losardo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-5. As for Westfield, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.
