Volleyball Recap: Greenfield/Northwestern Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Greenfield/Northwestern, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past the North Greene Spartans 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Greenfield/Northwestern who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 18-25, 25-11.

Adeline Lansaw paced Greenfield/Northwestern's offense, picking up eight kills. Lansaw got some help from Gracin Costello and her 15 assists. Annabeth Thornton controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
