Baseball Recap: Collegiate Comes Up Short

Collegiate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Christopher's Saints. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one run.

Collegiate's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for St. Christopher's, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Collegiate will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Deep Run at 4:45 p.m. St. Christopher's will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' game: after the Cougars faces off against the Wildcats, they'll take on St. Christopher's again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
