Softball Recap: Gar-Field Comes Up Short on the Road Against Unity Reed

Gar-Field had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Unity Reed Lions, falling 21-13. The Red Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Gar-Field got a big performance out of Amirah Reynolds, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Biddle, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-2.

Gar-Field will square off against Osbourn at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Unity Reed, they will challenge Justice at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
