The Sasakwa Vikings will challenge the Paoli Pugs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sasakwa knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Paoli likes a good challenge.

Sasakwa is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Fox to the tune of 66-20 on Thursday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Foxes recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sasakwa to victory, but perhaps none more so than Titan Collins, who picked up 92 receiving yards and two scores. Collins was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 55 yards. Darius Henderson was another key pass catcher, picking up 70 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Sasakwa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 318 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-22, which was the final score in Paoli's tilt against Bowlegs on Friday. The Pugs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sasakwa's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Paoli, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Sasakwa has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 166.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Paoli struggles in that department as they've been averaging 219.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Sasakwa took a serious blow against Paoli when the teams last played back in November of 2024, falling 46-0. Thankfully for the Vikings, Conner Boone (who rushed for 185 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also picked up 40 receiving yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
