Basketball Recap: Central Christian Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Central Christian saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 63-49 bruising from the Franklin Road Christian Minutemen.

Franklin Road Christian found their leader in sophomore Wes Fuqua, who went 10-for-14 to rack up 27 points along with six rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fuqua has scored all season. Pierre DeShields was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 11 steals.

Central Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Franklin Road Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Central Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Master's Hand Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Franklin Road Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Faith Baptist Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
