Basketball Recap: Douglas Tigers vs. Reed Raiders
Douglas lost against Reed back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Douglas Tigers fell to the Reed Raiders 60-56. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hailee Koontz and Ashlyn Greenfield certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Koontz dropped a double-double on 18 points and 14 boards, while Greenfield posted 16 points and four steals. Greenfield's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Giana Zinke, who scored 11 points.
Reed's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anastasia Lombardi, who had 19 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Those 19 points gave Lombardi a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Maxwell, who put up 17 points.
