Basketball Recap: Wahpeton Beats Lisbon for Their Third Straight Win

Wahpeton proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by 23) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Lisbon Broncos 57-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

The victory (which was Wahpeton's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Lisbon, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record.

Wahpeton will be playing at home against Central Cass at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lisbon, they will venture away from home to challenge Sargent County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
