Recap: Franklinton Demons vs. Lakeshore
The Franklinton Demons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 84-53 loss at the hands of Lakeshore. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Franklinton has suffered against Lakeshore since February 19, 2021.
It was another big night for Caiden Bickham, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 24 rebounds for Lakeshore. Bickham is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Guth, who scored 20 points along with three steals.
Franklinton has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season. As for Lakeshore, their victory bumped their record up to 16-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklinton will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Pine at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Lakeshore, they will challenge Sumner at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
