Concordia Lutheran had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They slipped by the Episcopal Knights 33-32. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 53-35 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Concordia Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.1 points per game. As for Episcopal, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Concordia Lutheran will take on St. John XXIII at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Episcopal, they will square off against Houston Christian on Friday.
