Basketball Game Preview: Dinuba Emperors vs. Redwood Rangers

The Dinuba Emperors just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Redwood Rangers at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dinuba is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Dinuba is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Kingsburg on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Dinuba lost 78-53 to Kingsburg. The Emperors were down 61-36 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Redwood wrapped up 2024 with a 76-62 win over Hanford. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Redwood is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.6 points per game. As for Dinuba, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
