Softball Recap: Spring Woods Takes a Loss

Spring Woods fell victim to Cypress Lakes and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Cypress Lakes Spartans, falling 11-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 13-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2021.

Spring Woods has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. Cypress Lakes moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Spring Woods has already played their next match, a 19-0 victory against Madison on the 4th. As for Cypress Lakes, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-2 loss against Cypress Woods on the 4th.
