Jurupa Valley is 9-1 against La Sierra since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Jaguars will host the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. Jurupa Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.8 runs per game this season.

La Sierra will be up against a hot Jurupa Valley squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Jaguars never let Rubidoux get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Friday. That's two games straight that the Jaguars have won by exactly 17 runs.

Samantha Amancio made a big impact no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles, one triple, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Selene Patito, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Sophia Padilla was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run.

Jurupa Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are undefeated (7-0) when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for La Sierra's offense. They lost 19-0 to Ramona on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Eagles' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

La Sierra dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Jurupa Valley, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.

Everything went Jurupa Valley's way against La Sierra when the teams last played back in March, as Jurupa Valley made off with a 20-1 victory. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
