After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nashville Christian, Franklin Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 43-20 margin over the Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-7.

Jase Toms looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 111 yards and a pair of TDs on only five passes. Everett Wandrey helped Toms out on the ground, rushing for 59 yards and one score on only seven carries.

Despite the defeat, Mount Juliet Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Romel Anderson picked up 101 receiving yards and one touchdown. Anderson was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 64 yards.
