Volleyball Recap: Elk Grove Takes a Loss

Elk Grove lost against Laguna Creek back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thundering Herd fell 3-1 to the Cardinals. The Thundering Herd have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 24-26, 25-14.

Jaysa Crable went supernova For Laguna Creek., getting 13 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Crable a new career-high. Sophia Hudson also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Elk Grove now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Laguna Creek, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Elk Grove has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Sheldon on the 18th. As for Laguna Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Monterey Trail on the 18th.
