Football Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss

Peninsula was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the North Saxons and fell 54-14.

Peninsula's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Peninsula will challenge rival South at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North is set to square off against their familiar foe Torrance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
