Basketball Recap: Cisco Comes Up Short

Cisco and Seymour squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Cisco had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 50-49 to the Seymour Panthers. The Loboes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Cisco's defeat dropped their record down to 26-5. As for Seymour, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season.

Cisco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seymour, they will challenge Bosqueville on Thursday. Bosqueville will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Seymour surely won't give up without a fight.
