Eagan has gone 8-2 against Apple Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wildcats will square off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Eagan has given up an average of 8.3 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

It was a proper cat-fight when Eagan faced off against Farmington on Monday. The Wildcats lost 11-4 to the Tigers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eagan saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Barry, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Ava Ryan also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Apple Valley might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Lakeville South who claimed the real prize. The Eagles came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-3. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Keura Roloff and Abby Larson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Roloff went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Larson went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Eagan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Apple Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
