            The Westlake Thunder will challenge the American Fork Cavemen at 10:30  a.m.  on Friday. Westlake is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last 12 games.
Westlake is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Utah's top teams: Cedar Valley, who was ranked 20th  at the time (Westlake was ranked third). The Thunder blew past the Aviators 3-0 on Friday.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16,  25-21.
Meanwhile,  two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only American Fork walked away with it. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Lancers on Monday. The Cavemen not only won  on Monday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 20th (when they won  3-0).
 American Fork was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-7,  26-24.
 Westlake better focus on containing  Evan Olmstead and  Jarett Santiago as the pair were huge in American Fork's win. Olmstead  had ten  digs and five  assists, while  Santiago  had six  digs, two  aces,  and one  block. Olmstead is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as he's  now  had ten or more in each of the last 19 games he's  played.
 American Fork's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Westlake, their victory was  their seventh straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 22-5.
 Westlake took their  win against American Fork  when the teams last played  back in April by a conclusive  3-0 score. Do  the Thunder have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cavemen turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
