Basketball Game Preview: All Saints Episcopal Trojans vs. Bishop Gorman Crusaders

All Saints Episcopal is 2-8 against Bishop Gorman since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The All Saints Episcopal Trojans will head out on the road to square off against the Bishop Gorman Crusaders at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, All Saints Episcopal didn't have too much breathing room in their match against McKinney Christian Academy, but they still walked away with a 30-26 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Gorman). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Shelton 70-4. The win was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on four straight.

Bishop Gorman's win came from a few key players All Saints Episcopal will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kate Cleofe, who posted ten points and eight steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Meads, who went 6 for 9 on her way to 15 points.

Bishop Gorman has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for All Saints Episcopal, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

All Saints Episcopal lost to Bishop Gorman on the road by a decisive 46-29 margin in their previous matchup on January 7th. Can All Saints Episcopal avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
