Freedom Christian Academy won the last time they faced Lee Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since September 16, 2024.

Chloe Hughes paced Freedom Christian Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Hughes got some help from Abbi Poindexter and her 18 assists. Poindexter and Hughes didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

The win got Freedom Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Lee Christian, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
