Volleyball Recap: Howell North's Winning Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Howell North dropped their record down to 18-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They lost 3-0 to the Howell Vikings. Considering the last time the Knights couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Josh Windsor paced Howell North's offense, picking up 14 kills. Windsor got some help from Luke Hollinger and his 26 assists. Windsor was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

As for Howell, their victory bumped their record up to 14-16. They haven't had any issues with Howell North recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Leading Howell to victory were Jackson Bradley and Blake Spiller. Bradley had 11 digs and four assists, while Spiller had two aces and two assists.

Looking ahead, Howell North will face off against Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Howell, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Liberty on the 12th.
