Softball Recap: Lee Vining Takes a Loss

Lee Vining was the 16-11 winner over Lone Pine when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Golden Eagles on Wednesday, falling 19-10. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lee Vining's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lone Pine, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lee Vining will head out to challenge Immanuel Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Lone Pine, they will head out on the road to square off against Tonopah at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
