Basketball Recap: Guajome Park Academy Frogs vs. Escondido Cougars
Guajome Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 70-40 loss at the hands of the Escondido Cougars.
Leading Escondido to victory were Maddox Mendoza and Nathan James. Mendoza had 14 points, while James earned 12 points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Arenas, who posted nine points.
Guajome Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Guajome Park Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Preuss UCSD at 4:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Escondido, they will host St. Joseph Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
