Volleyball Recap: St. Anthony Comes Up Short

St. Anthony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mendez Jaguars.

St. Anthony's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Mendez, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 24-8 record this season.

St. Anthony didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Quartz Hill on the 18th. As for Mendez, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Buchanan on the 18th.
