Volleyball Recap: Salt Lake Academy Takes a Loss

Salt Lake Academy saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Duchesne Eagles. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amelia Anderson paced Salt Lake Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Anderson got some help from Mercedes Mendez and her five assists.

Salt Lake Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Duchesne, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Salt Lake Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Jordan on the 30th. As for Duchesne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Emery on the 30th.
