Football Game Preview: Tillamook Cheesemakers vs. Astoria Fishermen

Tillamook and Astoria are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Cheesemakers will be playing at home against the Fishermen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Tillamook is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past St. Helens 54-7 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Cheesemakers in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won four in a row.

35 must be Astoria's lucky number: they beat Gladstone with that score not once but twice on Friday. The Fishermen didn't even let the Gladiators on the board, marking the Fishermen's second-straight 35-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Fishermen, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Astoria's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tillamook, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.
